40 wide x 17'6" high. Somber, gritty, unsentimental view of Times Square or a run-down section in any city where two streets converge into one. Depicted is a liquor store, newsstand, news delivery truck, and various signs against the buildings. Painted in Edward Hopper-type grays, browns and muted neutral colors. The impression created is one of glum moodiness.
